Thanks for reading Created to Convert. 🤗 This is the Weekly Roundup—a mini marketing edit that lands in your inbox every Tuesday, with a marketing quick tip and the tools, tricks, and tonics that are fueling my solo biz this week. Enjoy!
Summer is officially in full swing at the Jungels house, friend!
Which means my laptop keys are perpetually coated in streaks of Sun Bum and something I think (hope?) is popsicle juice. 😏
The summer energy has been 🔥🔥.
💰 Just wrapped up a client welcome email sequence that is already pulling in conversions.
📖 About to help another kick off a fun summer content series to start hyping her upcoming book launch.
Plus website launches, workshop funnels, and branding facelifts. I get giddy just talking about it. (I'm a marketing nerd.)
Welcome to small biz marketing summer school! ✏️ Here’s what I’ve got for ya:
🧪 You could swirl. Or you could experiment.
📝 Your summer school experiment syllabus (growth all but guaranteed)
💖 A little brand love (your new fave social scheduler)
PS: If you’ve got a marketing project in need of some strategic sparkle or something you wish you could just pass off to an expert for a little sales-optimized TLC, DM me and tell me about it. Or get in touch here. I'd love to help!
✏️ If I was your marketing strategist…
Ever feel like you’re doing all the marketing things people say to do… but you still feel like nothing *really* seems to be working?
You’re posting, emailing, talking about your offers.
But no one’s clicking. And no one’s buying.
So you’re left staring at your screen thinking, "WHAT AM I MISSING?!?"
📧 Do my subject lines suck?
🤳 Am I not posting enough?
😫 Should I *really* be on TikTok??
Hear this, my friend—you're not failing at marketing. You just don't know what works best for you yet.
And that can admittedly be exhausting.
So let’s fix that. Not by piling on more content or chasing yet another trend, but by getting more intentional with what you’re already doing.
With something I like to call 🧪 "mini marketing experiments." 🧪
(It's the growth trick every successful business owner uses, but rarely gets talked about.)
I'm going to go out on a wobbly limb and guess that you likely have lots of questions when it comes to your marketing...amiright?
Welcome to entrepreneurship. 😏
🌪️ Now, you could second-guess yourself into oblivion or swirl for hours over what color button to use in your email campaigns...
📊 ...OR you could run a mini experiment instead and let the data tell you.
Mini marketing experiments give you proof and answers. They show you, in black and white, what’s landing and what’s not.
You’re no longer guessing or just throwing things out there for the sake of being "visible."
Your marketing is now pulling double-duty.
So even if you don't get sales, you still get insights. Which are arguably just as valuable.
Because even just one tiny insight—like knowing your audience prefers this upsell to that one—can change everything.
And those insights help you turn your ho-hum, flat, underperforming marketing into marketing that *slaps* (as the kids would say) every single time. 🙌
Here are a few I've done with clients so far this month:
Including CTA buttons on Pinterest pin assets
Testing new interest-based audiences in Meta ads
Subject line tests in email campaigns
Repurposing clips from workshops as video posts on LinkedIn
So here's how to start using this trick to grow right now:
🧠 Write down your marketing-related questions.
Keep them in a Google doc, on a sheet of paper you hang on your wall, in your planner or notebook. Wherever.
But make sure they’re handy. Add to them when new ones come up.
(Psssst... I've got a list of some ideas to get you started below! 👇)
🤔 Each month, pick TWO of those questions you want to test and answer in the weeks ahead.
Just two. No need to over-complicate it.
📅 Work those tests into your marketing and content creation.
For example, if you’re trying to learn if adding emojis to your email subject lines boosts open rates, plan to do a few subject line A/B tests this month.
📊 My best advice is to run the same test a few times (think 3–5).
This gives you plenty of data to work with and minimizes the risk of outliers throwing your results.
📝 At the end of those three tests, ask yourself what you’ve learned.
Then think about how you’ll apply it to your marketing going forward.
This might seem like a small thing. But it's a HUGE momentum shift.
Instead of flying by the seat of your Vuori yoga pants, it forces you to be even the slightest bit intentional.
You’re not just another content machine running on fumes and some stale Cheez-Its.
You are a marketing master in the making.
You’re taking the initiative today to learn what works for your audience so you can get even better results tomorrow.
That’s how marketing starts to feel less like a shot in the dark and more like a strategy you can feel confident in. #smallbizwin

Buffer
I’ve recommended Buffer before. It’s my very fave social media scheduling platform.
But I stumbled upon their commitment to transparency by accident the other day and it made me love them even more (if that’s possible).
If you’re looking for a scheduling tool (or just a brand that does transparency marketing/copy really, really well) check 'em out.
Words of Wisdom
There is always a countermove, always an escape or a way through, so there is no reason to get worked up. No one said it would be easy and, of course, the stakes are high, but the path is there for those ready to take it. - Ryan Holiday
